Went to la jolla this morning with only a few hours to fish. Gorgeous day to be on the water!!
So stoked to catch my first yellow on my yak!! Lots of bait lots of life. Peddle in around 10:45am just to hear all the hook ups on the radio. -Mike |

Congratulations Mike on your first Kayak Yellow Tail. It will be the one you'll remember the most and taste the sweetest at the diner table. There will be others, but none will take the place of the first. Shit it's almost like talking about sex! HA HA HA! If you hadn't got hooked on kayak fishing before, I bet that did it.

Awesome Mike! I met you while unloading our yaks in the morning that day, then saw you fight that fish right after I hooked mine. That was a great day! Water was glassy in the morning and weather was perfect! Hope to see you out there again soon!
