Help!!!!

ok so im looking into getting a reel to throw swimbaits and lures for calico, halibut, spotties. i want to get an avet sxj 5.3. i would like to know what is the smallest weight size lure you cant throw with a sxj???

That reel is a little heavy in my opinion for what you want to do with it. I'd think about a bigger bait caster. But this is just my preference. That is a great bait reel though. Halibut, yellowtail.

Check out the lews bb2 inshore reel my favorite baitcaster so far. I use all left handed reels.

I'm a lefty also and have a Lexa 400 HS and calcutta 401te both awesome reels.

Calcutta 401TE. But I guess one should ask, what's important to you? Round reels or low profile? Star drag or lever? Line capacity?? Rod u will be pairing it with?
