How to target fish in the middle of the H2O column

Flyline. Check
Dropper loop. Check
Halibut rig. Check.
Yo-yo. Check
Surface iron. Check.

Best way to target a fish you see in the middle of the water column.

Say you are fishing in 150ft and you see a mark at 70ft. What's the best approach to target said fish with, for example fin bait?

I would say a Carolina rig with 2-4 oz of bullet weight

Yoyo and butt hooked greenie should work too

I was thinking the same thing with the Carolina rig. Thanks!

dropping the yoyo iron or suspending a mackerel/kroc aka cheeseburger

Ahh. The cheeseburger. I have been told about this. Will definitely keep that in mind!
