VMC Drop Shot Hooks Where to Buy Them Locally?

If I remember right I saw them at the Sport Chalet in San Marcos.

I just use a wide gap Gamagatsu hook tied on with a palomar knot. Leave a long tag end to attach a swivel. Loop the rubber band to the swivel and then your sinker to the rubber band if you will be using it around rocky bottoms. If the sinker wedges in the rocks, the band breaks and you only have to attach a new band and sinker. In the bay with its sandy bottom, I use a snap swivel and no rubber band to make quick weight changes to suit the tide flow.

I seen them here at Bass Pro shop, Sav-on Tackle, Turner tackle, and several other medium size tackle shop. Since your in chula vista it shouldn't be too hard.

Dick's in Pt Loma. I might have saw some at the nearby Sports Chalet too. Both shops a few blocks from each other.;)

I was thinking the same thing and that's one of the reasons I usually go with the Albright knot instead of a swivel when I tie a drop shot.

the spinspot hooks are not a great design.. they are really made for vertical drop shotting. if you cast the spin shot guess what the hook does.. it spins down and doesnt hold the hook out like a regular DS rig does. Save your money and learn to tie the rig ^^^^^ there...
