Would sure like to get another Halibut before they shut down for the season. I will be at SI tomorrow AM. I would like to launch by 0700. I have the brown Tacoma with the yellow Revo sticking out. See you there!

Kellog

Hey Ling,

Where do you park when you launch at Kellog? That is a much more civilized peddle! So do you unload first then go park? I have always been curious about that one.

From the looks of your picture, it doesn't look like you need any advise. Good look out there tomorrow. I wish I could go.

janines.fishtales@cox.net 09-14-2013 06:38 PM

Always use advice!

LOL! Thanks Todd, but everyone knows you are the MASTER!

I wish you could go too! I will try to get one for you!

I scope the parking then I unload at the end of the st by the trail. There's the other road up a block from there too. I've been a few, times parking has never been a prob, especially earlier.

Sure Janine I'll fish with you anytime. I'm always looking to get out with someone. I need to hook into a YT or WBS.

Sweet. I don't think anyone's checking. I parked there last week there last week and didn't get one. I'll still launch at Bessamer, just to be safe.

easyday 09-16-2013 06:12 PM

They're still out there. It's just getting a little tougher. You have to cover a lot of water to find them. Linglifter got one today.

easyday 09-16-2013 08:37 PM

The problem is i work 7 days a week trying to get out on the water is a bit tough right now but i get my couple hours on the water when i can.

janines.fishtales@cox.net 09-17-2013 06:07 PM

I feel your pain...

Hey Easyday,

I know what you mean about so little time. When I took my yak out last Sunday, that was the first time in over a month. It gets tough some times but you will get out there. Like I said earlier, I am looking forward to some fall fishing out there. Lots less traffic, although you do have to hunt harder. I would like to head out there with some frozen squid and drop some near the rocks by Ballast Point. I hear theres a spot for sculpin over there. Yummm... Sculpin soup!

Janine

roadx 09-18-2013 05:10 AM

lots of wrecks that hold sculpin near ballast point.
Be careful, the point and north side of ballast point is MLPA (no fishing) but where most of the wrecks are is still OK but you might get chased out by the military.

janines.fishtales@cox.net 09-18-2013 10:23 AM

heads up

didn't even think of that. Good lookin out.

The meter maid was lurking around when I was loading up. I don't suggest parking there for more than 2 hours during the week.
