Carlsbad after work today 6/20
 

Just now decided to take the yak out to some of the kelp beds in Carlsbad this evening. If anyone would like to join me I plan on being to the beach by 5:00 pm and fishing until I feel like, or dark. Any takers let me know, and I let you know where I plan on going.

I wish I could. I can't get out of a dinner though. Maybe next time. Good luck.

I tried something different than what I usually do. I went to some kelp, picked up two med sized macks, and went trolling. Was hoping for a thresher or lone yellow. No luck. Stopped by the kelp to plug for 20 minutes as the sun went down, got picked up once but got off. Nothing to show for. The weather was great though.
