Baja Bass Trip

Tomorrow 6 Sept, the Clack brothers head for Gonzaga for our annual bass trip. The last few years we all did very well, lots of spotties, triggers, cabrilla, snappers and misc bitters. Looking for a couple of the brothers to have 100+ fish days again this year. REPORT to follow trip, we return 15 Sept. See you all then, Tight Lines.

Bobby,

Safe travels to you guys. Grab a custom Clack Bro's tee shirt for me...oh yeah, keep and eye out for my Kamprite along the way! Jim

Yes bass were caught, but this was the poorest fishing I have seen here. Reasons were probabally multi fold. Small tidal swings, barametic pressure swings from Hurricane, tons of MICRO BAIT all over from 0-30 feet. No winds over 10 mph made for beautiful days on the water. 3 brothers made a crossing to the island, and one brother paddled it twice. Many sierra were caught too. BRING wire leaders.
