Ending of Rockfish season...

What a way to end the local rockfish season...
Mostly small to medium fish on the squid/Squirt combo...but once we switched to strip baits the bite really changed... Just under 15lbs on the Boga scale...huge belly but it only held eggs... :o Biggest local Ling of the year for us... Looking forward to have some more depth to explore with the new regs but NOT looking forward to only 5 Reds in possession...and it looks like we might be stuck with this new reg for a couple of years...until the DFW does a stock assessment and realizes that the stock is healthy and numerous...!
