Transducer mount - Lowrance Total Scan

I just got a new Lowrance FF with the Total Scan transducer, this thing is huge and it doesn't fit obviously on the bottom of my PA. My options here are:

Buy a custom berleypro cover and mount it on the bottom $55
In hull mount - least expensive
Ram/Scotty arm mount - $24

I know each option has it's pros and cons, but what do you guys think is best?

Will the arm mount cause too much drag?

berleypro cover

Yup!

Berley Pro!

Thank you both. Will pick one up at pure water sports tomorrow.

Put the Berley pro on my Solo Skiff. That housing is GREAT. Solid almost perfect, no problems mounting thru hull. Any Lorance ready yack should be easy enough to do. I love mine. Tight Lines amigo.

Thanks Makbob,

I installed mine and it's exactly what you said: almost perfect.

I opted for the lowrance cover

Installed it on a PA 14. Works beautifully. Actually works, better than I thought. Wasn’t expecting side imagining to have a free and clear read, but it does. The transducer is tucked up on a PA so in my opinion the extra armor of the heavy duty cover is not necessary. Maybe installed on a outback or revo, it could be warranted.
