Wife found wallet......

So the wife found a wallet with 550 bucks in it tonight, and as soon as I got off work we went and returned it. There was a fishing license in it so I told him he's got good luck and to go fishing.

Strong work. Here's to hoping that karma comes in for you and your wife for a solid move.:you_rock::cheers1:

Hahaha so a hobie owner would have kept it? I mean when a single bolt for the mirage drive is 700.00 I wouldn't blame you for keeping it :D But yea that could have been that dudes rent money or to feed his kids. Id rather be broke than to take something I didn't earn....

It's an expensive addiction 😊

Your a good dude.. Teaching my 2 boys to do the same when they find money or things...

Can't put a price on a clear conscience. I have done stuff like that and been told I was nuts.

Good on ya for the return

I knew you paddle guys were good guys

A few years ago I found a fishing license floating on the water while fishing the sewer, I returned it and got this letter and some cash in return

I was a pedal guy at the time;)

Bert Vega 03-21-2015 09:06 AM

Very cool. That's a good amount of cash. Karma is on your side

corpsmanusn2001 03-21-2015 09:12 AM

Good man (and wife)! Do the right thing because it's the right thing. Good on ya

dmrides 03-21-2015 10:34 AM

Good on ya! I have been on the other side before, only $40 in the wallet though. Guy looked me up in the phone book and returned it to me right away. I offered and he refused to take the $40.

Always good to hear stories like this

StinkyMatt 03-21-2015 03:22 PM

Great story, it makes you feel good when you do good.

Did you "reward" the wife?;)

bolocop 03-21-2015 05:37 PM

You did the right thing, but that's what you are supposed to do.

FISH11 03-21-2015 06:02 PM

Great job Josh! It always feels good to do the right thing.

kobra 03-21-2015 06:18 PM
