I had takin' the days off of hell, to go on a trip to Catalina with a bunch of friends this weekend, but things didn't work out for us, so I went ot my "go to" trip for time off, Kendall has a place in Mammoth, so we opted to go there to spend the weekend. :reel:

This is the Upper Owens, all of the following were caught and alot released, in one "honey hole", my wife took us to...I was using a Panther Martin in white, on 4lb. following the current around this small overhang, Kendall just pulled one after another...got an action shot...Attachment 6971

Oh yeah, I got my Eastern Sierra PB too... 4.5 lbs wieghed at the camp ground in front of the crowdAttachment 6973

I farmed one for Kendall, we didn't bring a net to this spot, I handed the line and lost a big un...Attachment 6974
The wind picked up the next two days, a fire closed 395 both ways on Saturday night, kept alot of pressure on the good spots, but we had a great time....

Owens just above Crowley, the fish we got were lake fish that migrated up, just plain fricken blessed...:reel:

O i see how it is 1 trip is cancelled and it becomes all about you and the wifey.....bro i enjoy mammoth also .... I sat at cabrillo with george got blown around for nothing...

Great trip with lots of nice fish caught. Those trout were big. That pic of the yak on the lake looks cool, like that boulder could just fall on you.
