UV buff

School me on uv buffs. How do you like yours, who has em, any particular brands that shine above the rest? Your insight is appreciated. I'm used to stepping into the galley between bites but unfortunately my kayak isn't equipped with one.

Most important would be the UV protection rating. Rating may depend on the material being used.

There are different styles and designs beyond that.

I use it a lot because I don't like having 'coon' eyes after my outings.

Great product. Only thing better would be a shaped one like a ski mask so you could hold up the bait barge. All kidding aside, they are great added sun protection without being too hot to wear. Amazingly warm in the winter too, for such a thin material.

Great product. I wouldn't be without mine on the water - period. I have the original Buff brand. They sell for $25-27 no matter where you look, so don't bother shopping around.

While you're at it, get a pair of good sun gloves. Your hands are hard to protect due to being constantly wetted. Angling gloves help with paddling if you are so unlucky as to have a craft that doesn't pedal, and leave the fingertips free for knot tying.

Thanks appreciate all the input. Went shopping around and got the Buff brand UV buff in dorado pattern. Hopefully no more tomato face from now on. :D

Will look into gloves. Also those wsb ones from Wade are cool lookin'.
