Great!?

Been pretty slow for me the last couple of months unless you count the sharks. Been donating gear to Soupfins and Leopards on a fairly regular basis. Ended a couple trips early when I ran out of sinkers. Only highlight, other than some interesting bait behavior, came on another "Nat Geo Moment" on Sat.

I quit sticking my feet in the water when the bat ray decided to taste my foot

What's going on with the shark's dorsal fin?

taggermike 11-23-2016 08:03 AM

Great vid. Damn what a beautiful animal.
Mr. NiceGuy. Those a parasitic copepods. Similar to the sea lice you find on yellow tail. The strings off the back are eggs I believe. Mike

I saw another fish that looked about the same size as the one in your video a couple months ago. But I figured it was a Mako, since it was shorter than the average birth length of 5'. This one was no more than 7' (I don't think). Hard to imagine a litter of 2 to 10 of those at 5'
