I cant seem to get these things even. Anyone know the trick. The bolts just seem to keep turning with the cable when trying to loosen the chain bolt.

Im not even sure how it got to this point.

Are you sure they are set to the same hole setting? As in both on 4.

Unless you were replacing the chain not sure how this could happen.

I use a little vice grip on the sleeve on the cable end, to keep it from slipping when loosening the nuts.

Got it. I wasn't sure if I had the correct nut. Put some small vice grips on it and it came loose.

Can't wait to test out the extra propulsion. It was off by quite a bit. Thanks

Glad you got it worked out. I've had the chain loosen up over time, and had it skip a few teeth on the sprocket. Just keep that chain tight, and it shouldnt ever be a problem.
