Just looking at the video looks like about 6' from dorsal fin to the tail...

dorsal fin looks pointy enough for a juvenile gws to me...but I don't wear my glasses anymore lol

would have been great if you would have dunked the cam though. under these conditions the shark was just curious. if he wanted you he would have leaped out of water with mouth gaping open slashing back and forth at your throat or face. I have seen some crazy mako's leaping out of water before at LJ. by the way, there is a good youtube video of a few kayakers not handling the catch properly and almost loosing life or limb. anyone still have this video?

seems too docile for a mako. video footage does not help decipher or make it definitive either.
