New to fish finders, what are these marks?

I went out on the yak yesterday and saw a couple of these interesting marks. I didn’t see any seals or dolphins in the area, so I’m guessing they are sea bass Or yellows. Do any of you seasoned veterans have any ideas as to what they could be?

They look like creepy purple fingers praying for fish [emoji3]

Fish-Finder mounted wrong or Kayak is on it's side bracing against a wave.

Very hard to tell with all of the stuff going on there. You have chosen a very unusual color palette there, especially with the dark background. The sideways screens, reflections and water spots don't help either. Even if I knew what your scroll speed and colorline were set at, I would still have a tough time with the pallette color separation.

I would suggest using palette #1 on the selection screen and set the scroll speed to X2 and sensitivity to Auto and colorline to default or 79%. Try those setting and it should make the screen easier to read. Avoid the dark background. Noise reduction can be used but either low or medium.
