New trailer!

picking it up at 2pm today! :luxhello:

its going to be a small project, plans are to have it set up for 2 yaks with a lockbox, bed box and two ice chests, one for ice and one as a live well. and also have two center detachable T-bars between the two kayaks to load a third.

was for hauling a 16' boat.

pretty cool...but i donno if id trust society to not just cut those front handles right off and take off with the kayaks....unless there is additional locks we cant see somewhere else?

good luck with the customization of that trailer...sounds like a fun project.

the chain was handy
use it to keep kayaks from sliding back in the high winds of mohove on way to bishop
they are also strapped through the scuppers
works great

plant to put a steel mesh box under them for firewood and gear

That's a fun new project, and will make loading and unloading easier on you. Thanks for posting up.

Some foam noodles on those cross bars and you'd be good to go for as long as you'd like(without having to do any more work).

How are you going to set it up?

I used my huge ass trailer because I'd be hauling at least two(usually three) at any time, plus I wanted something to help me move in a year or so. Three barely fit on mine. You can tell by the updated pics on my thread I still had to stack them on my Cobra "tankyak".

im going to have the support bars about 2ft off the deck so i can have a lock box and coolers.

Westin craddles in the center and these ( http://www.amazon.com/Univerisal-Roo...6763861&sr=8-1 ) on the sides.

pretty much like this one. but about half the cost. http://www.amazon.com/Malone-MicroSp...766958&sr=8-30

I added a ladder rack to my trailer. I found one for $60 on ebay. It gave me 2 tiers. I found that to be an inexpensive way to add 2 levels.

Something like this. I turned mine towards the outside of the trailer, to give me more room up top.
