Baha de Los angles

Does anyone have any expertise with the hotels and the locals here. Thinking about a trip.

Years ago, I wanted to go, so I did some research.

I got mixed reports. Some said safe, and one was about an American couple got killed, boat stolen.

Do as much research as you can, go with package (all inclusive) operators if you find some.

All the best.

I went earlier this year for the first time and had a blast. I will definitely be returning.
Got a big bluegill down there.

I used Carlos' recommendation and bought a fishing license online.

I'm told fuel can be spotty at times, and it's worth learning some espanol to be able to converse with the locals.

Be prepared for unanticipated expenses, and ready to deal with unexpected scenarios.

That said, it's a beautiful place, and the fishing was stupid easy if you had the right techniques and implementation ability.

The fishing shop by the launch ramp was definitely a business I'd support on future outings.

I have heard the winds can be brutal, so be prepared not to fish under certain conditions, or stick to shore.

Looks like they had a good time. I did few trips down there in the late 80's and early '90s with a car-top Aluminum skiff. We kept our profile low and never had any problems. Pacifico beer in the 20 box was the ticket. Never enough ice while camping, so lots of warm beer.:cheers1:

check out Tony Reyes fishing charters. They do all inclusive trips (minus the gear, tip, bedding) and its as a group from USA to BOLA
