Does that c-map worth spending extra money?
I have some basspro card for a new fishfinder and it's $30 difference. It's not much but don't want to get something I don't need or a feature I will never use.
Thank you in advance!

The map cards add a lot of detail to the units base map. I use Navionics Gold card in my Dragonfly, well worth the extra $.

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it!
I really want the 7" but can't justify $200 for 2" more screen...! Decisions...

The older we get the worse our eyes get, specially in bright sunlight. Bigger might be better. Tight Lines.

I was at basspro earlier staring at 5" & 7" screens for quite a while...you're right. My eyes are not quite as sharp as they used to be...sigh..

And on the water you are using sunglasses and they too affect what you areseeing on the screen. Wait a month and go for the 7 you will be glad you did.

The elite 5's toutch screen is glitchy for some reason. Lots of bad reviews on it. The 7 is prime, go with it.

I like my Elite 7ti a lot. If you get the totalscan transducer buy the "BerleyPro TotalScan Transducer mount" it will protect the transducer, the Hobie one doesn't do too much.

I had the 5 TI and after 6 months the touch screen started acting up badly and after that continued for about 1 month, I took it back to West Marine and got the 7 TI by paying the difference. Unfortunately you loose the payment on the extended warranty, so i had to buy the Extended plan on the new 7 TI. Super glad I got the 7, but it is heavier and I had to get the 1.5" RAM mount because the 1" would not stay up with the slightest bump or wave hitting it.
