The End Of An Era.........for now

well, I am officially kayakless but I did come across something that I've been wanting since I sold my boat back in 2009, its another boat. I've always wanted a Skipjack as a project boat and when the deal of a lifetime comes around you have no choice but to jump on it before its too late.

The fish are going to miss you Jorge. Might as well sell the fishing gear too, cause it will be old and crumbly by the time you get a project boat finished.

Saba Slayer 11-20-2018 05:50 PM

happy...

There's some really happy Halibut out there...and a few more chances for the average guy to win the WON tourneys...LOL...!
Congrats on the new boat...:cheers1:

Put a couple kayaks on it and mothership

Congrats on the new project. Hopefully you can get it fishable soon. Once it is seaworthy you can drop a line and tinker on the water

blitzburgh 11-20-2018 07:28 PM

Good luck on your project, you can do anything you want, just set your mind to it an go. Sea you on the water amigo.

FISH11 12-02-2018 12:23 PM

Good luck Jorge! Just post a link to some of the fish stories you'll be able to catch with a greater range on a nice boat. All is takes is $, I remember the days of owning a boat.

jorluivil 12-02-2018 03:57 PM

I am planning on getting a kayak, it will likely be an Outback but if the right PA comes at the right price I might just do it.

You better find a replacement quick, or your gonna age rapidly. PM for fishing buddy and gas contributions. I’ll be waiting patiently.

23 DC and and Taco. The American dream

Saba Slayer 12-06-2018 07:01 AM

Taco...?

That Taco must groan when you hit a hill towing that heavy rig...I had a Tacoma and upgraded to a Chevy Tahoe for the pulling power even with my small 18' skiff.

TJones 12-06-2018 09:23 AM

groan?

over gross. :D

It's actually a 201 WA CC. Tow capacity on the truck is 6,400#, actually pulls nice, even uphill....with a half tank.

TJones 12-07-2018 03:15 PM

my bad

I shouldn't retaliate. I apologize. I was just a little envious. :D. congrats guys. it must be nice. hope you get back to peddling soon Jorge. :cheers1:.
