King Harbor Report

Launched at 6:30am South wind and nice conditions in the harbor. It's the last time I can fish until September so I planned on throwing plastics for a few hours and then join my family's party in seaside lagoon.

Hooked a fat sand bass and had a 15lb halibut to the boat on 10lb test with no gaff. Sat there for a minute contemplating how I was going to land it when the line broke along with my heart. It was easily 34"

Awesome! Now I get to travel the country with BUTT on my mind.....Counting the days

Sucks on the halibut. You don't have any lip grippers?

I did but I lost them last week. They fell overboard and they got wedged way out of reach under a dock with the current and I didn't feel like going swimming.....
