anyone using a Garmin echomap fish finder?

Hello all, Im new here and had a question about fish finders. Does anybody have experience using the Garmin echomaps uhd finders? Im about to pull the trigger on a new fish finder and was wanting some feedback. Thanks

I had an echomap 94sv for a while until somebody stole it. I did not like the presentation as well as that of other FF. The big bar of data(eating up the view that would otherwise show the bottom picture) was annoying. My older dragonfly 7 would pick up more detail when dropping a jig.

Many kayakers are a fan of one brand or another, I just had a bad experience with the Garmin.

I’m on a 44csv and love it. I came from cheap lowrance, so that’s all I have to compare it to. In that regard, no contest.

There’s a search feature top right. You’ll be able to find a few in detail posts I’ve made about my experience.

I have a Echomap 64cv and like it a lot more than the Lowrance Hook/Reveal series.

Sold my Lowrance and switched to Franklin
Garmin.
