Volunteers for February 6th event
 

Hi Everyone,

We are excited to be kicking off our 2016 season on Saturday February 6th at OEX Mission Bay.

This first event is going to be our smallest regular event of the year so that we can all review and become familiar with our event protocols and strategies.

February 6th is a perfect time for first time volunteers to come down to meet us, along with our seasoned volunteers, to have all of your questions answered about what and why we do what we do.

Please let us know if you can help out!

We look forward to seeing all of our great past volunteers and meeting many new ones.

The 2016 Heroes on The Water season has arrived. There has been lots of work and behind the scenes effort to broaden the people touched by this organization this year. We still need your help! Like Mike said, this is going to be a smaller event to remind us of what it takes to make these events a success.

Roger up here if you plan on coming to hang out, don't assume we know you'll be there please.

This is what we need!

Competent folks willing to bring their kayak/fishing gear to float around with a Hero on their kayak/fishing gear supplied by us!

Competent folks willing to help set up and tear down canopies, tables, and the cooking station.

Competent folks that don't burn tortillas on the grill...

Ever cut squid? You'll learn from our local squid cutting legend Tacmik!

Competent folks willing to take a role in the SoCal Chapter of Heroes on The Water!

I'm planning on coming down to do a food inspection. Any violations will be noted!

It's all good. Matt won't be bringing the food. New York tortillas have been banned.

I just got work covered and will be down.

Just to clarify.......
The tortillas at our last event were not from New York
They were from China. :D

This week's event menu will be fresh White Sea Bass tacos!!!

Couldn't find anyone to trade shifts with...hopefully I can make the second event.
