Point Loma launch sites
 

Has anyone ever tried launching from the tide pools at the bottom of the stairwell on the south end of sunset cliffs, at the sunset set cliffs natural park? Wondering on a calm day if it’s doable? I plan on using my kayak to spearfish off of but also want to fish from it some days. Thinking about throwing on my wetsuit and tying everything down to the kayak and swimming it out past the break vs trying to paddle it out. Thoughts or is this a crazy idea?
