I think she is saying: You catch those beautiful fish and you don't have an ice chest? Great day, but Damn!

Ain't nothing wrong with what's posted here, except for how leathery that wsb looks.

That's funny because directly after this catch, i sped to sports authority and bought the biggest ice chest they sold....lol

Waves were decent finyak. Had to bust through and air drop of the back of waves to get out. I launched in the dark so it made it pretty rewarding to get out unscathed.

medina760 09-03-2012 06:23 PM

Nice catch! I met you out there suday. You helped us push the truck out. Unfortunately we didn't get to make it out, since we forgot the paddles and don't have turbo fins so we couldn't get pass the surf maybe next time.

That is completely respectable cuda. I am an advocate of catch and release but also like to eat fish. My freezer was depleted of fish and needed to replenish. I am good for awhile. Some friends and i ate a few WSB slabs and man WSB is tasty!

roby 09-03-2012 07:05 PM

judging by your avatar you must catch and release too? or just stay in to avoid any casualties?

you know how quick 40lbs of YT gets eaten? plus i bet that white seabass will be gone by thursday.

Congratulations on a great day.

Agreed, haters will hate, and hypocrites will hypocrisy. Enjoy your fish.

I guess Julie and I were a day late and a dollar short, well...at least a day late.

taggermike 09-04-2012 01:00 PM

I've seen reactions similar to the woman's at LJ befor. The public beach idea must be new to her. Great job on some great fish. Mike
