It was a legal........probably between 24" & 28"

GregAndrew 03-05-2012 03:49 PM

Depending on which paddle you measure it with :D. Sorry, I couldn't resist. It looked like a monster when you were first fighting it, right up to when you pulled it from it's bed of lettuce. Oh well, one release method is as good as another, and that is obviously what you intended.

I was beginning to wonder when he would not respond to my text messages :D. I will take him off the speed dial list.

Measure twice=never paying a ticket. Plus you dont have to keep every 22 incher, especially with a full freezer like george. Clean cpr by the way george!

:iagree:

But you should know what a legal looks like..........If you caught enough of

them. And of course you dont have to kill every single one. :rolleyes:

Comon George, you should know what a legal looks like by now. You got at least like 3 or 4 of them already!

I would trust George's assesment of the size, he certainly has a lot of experience doing that. And with all the extra stuff on the line it would be difficult to tell an inch or so off. Better safe then sorry.

TJones 03-06-2012 01:24 PM

these guys are cold blooded

good job , way to finesse him him in. i would have buttoned down the drag and horsed him in . i am sure you knew it was close so you grabbed the net. dirt happens. next time . personally i would have been cursing like a dog. . :you_rock:

NEEFFF 03-06-2012 02:11 PM

When you catch as many flatties as George, losing one or two because of a lame ass net attempt is no big deal. :D

"jjcawjj" 03-06-2012 06:34 PM

:linesnap::linesnap::linesnap:Dang!!!!!! I hate when that Happens!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
