Sounds about right, and then when you drifted back far enough they get mad when you go back to the spot you started from or the boat anchored in the spot you drifted from...

I too am going to be patience and hopefully not become a so called frustrated fisherman until the next WFO bite. I'll be out there when I get "the call".
