OMG Scallywag and Sharon caught fish!?!?!? Big surprise you guys have been killing it for months on end:cheers1::sifone::notworthy:

Going the distance pays off sometimes huh!? Remember kids... if salty old scallywag is traveling north then there must be no fish in la jolla. It's time for more strategic attacks aboard the doryteuthis!

Sick, anyone wanna blast off to deep hole? I have today and tomorrow off

Great post Scallymiah! Next time you hit the road- I'll be your Huckleberry.

Right on guys! :cheers1:

Glad to hear the plastic fleet representatives were scoring on that crazy bite up there.

I just like LJ cbass, they somehow taste better. :biggrinjester:

DESTROYER 06-14-2012 05:04 PM

Impressive! I remember those days when I was motivated. WTG:wsb::wsb:x2

sharonkayak 06-14-2012 06:15 PM

well put!

You left out the part were I said, "scallywag you have to play lifeguard on the beach and let me launch first." My chances of flipping were way greater than not. I was yet to see a window were it would be easy getting out!

Catching fish. Yes that is the goal, but the experience all put together is what makes this sport so great.

Super fun, would do it again in a heartbeat! :cheers1:

(I had actually opened this thread shortly after you posted it...
but realizing it was a "timely report" I quickly closed it, and decided to wait a week or so to enjoy some regularly aged WSB dope):D

Wow great job - inspirational! Well done!

wiredantz 07-03-2012 07:43 AM

LOL...

I just read this...

I have been out there since May trying to catch a WSB. I can't believe you guys traveled 3 hours to get up here. Usually we are the ones going down to La Jolla.

Congratz on having a plan work out.

Kudos!

I am happy your road trip worked out!

Congratz to both of you!
