Hey I am not a veteran however would love to participate in this event and meeting like minded yak anglers. Let me know the details is this just a clinic or fishing tourney? Let me know

This is not a tournament.
HEROES ON THE WATER is a national non profit organization. We are the Southern California Chapter and provide a day of kayak fishing to disabled veterans and their families to help them enjoy the physical and therapeutic aspects of our sport. Our monthly events are a lot of fun and really do help our guests.
If you're looking for a way to meet some new people while helping a great cause then let me know.
We are a group of volunteers who are also kayak anglers.
You do not need to be a veteran to volunteer with us.
It is free to veterans and volunteers alike.
Lunch is served also.
